When someone enrolls into a drug treatment center to receive help for their drug addiction it is a serious time and needs to be taken seriously. It is a time when things have reached a plateau of utter destruction if help is not provided and accepted. It is a time to face the reality that there is a problem. With this willingness to admit that there is an issue that needs to be addressed the drug addict has to take responsibility and be accountable for their actions toward this abuse of drugs.
Once they admit that there is a problem it is time to get down to the business of the recovery process. Remember that the drug addict did not previously engage in any type of disciplined or organized plan. Their life was one of chaos frustration and anxiety. It is evident that treatment has to be ongoing in some cases because not everyone has the strength to stay away from the temptation of drugs. However in a faith based environment the recovering addict is taught how to access their inner power to call for strength from God through prayer and persistence.
